The cost of a surveillance system is not a fixed number. These are what make it up, and until they are known any figure is a guess.
Which is why there is no figure on this page. It comes after sizing the project, from these same variables.

Camera count
The biggest variable. Thirty cameras and three thousand differ in more than licensing: server and network architecture change with them.

Retention period
Seven days or ninety? This one number sets the disk you need, and with it the hardware.

AI modules
Plate reading, face recognition, counting and the rest are chosen separately. Each is licensed and each wants processing power.

Sites and nodes
One building, or twenty branches across several cities? The multi-node layout and how recording load is spread follow from this.
